CNY Escape!

Was back in HK on Wed night 8pm. Reached school around 10pm.

After buying the tickets, we still have some time to go for some desserts!

Its quite amazing that there is a queue outside when its quite empty inside. There is only one staff doing the cleaning up of the tables. No efficiency. Or did they purposely want to create a queue outside to attract more people.....Hmm...

These tables were like this when we came in and it is still like this when we left

The ferry trip will take around 1 hr 20 mins.

By the end of the trip some vomited....
Once we reached Macau, we rushed to the customs again to cross into Zhuhai
Here we are in Zhuhai!

There is many '都' hotels there. Eg. 银都,绿都,京都...... We finally found the hotel!
I think the room is very good as the rate is RM 290 for one night. But my buddy told me that its on the high side already. could get RM200. But anyway, i am satisfied!

Lets go for lunch!

We ate abit here abit there. Nice and cheap!
This dog is so pretty!
We took the public buses around. Convenient as we understand Chinese!
Next heading to 珠海渔人, the symbol of Zhuhai.

Here we are!
There is a lot a lot of mainland tourists. A lot of them holding on to Canon and Nikon DSL. We can really see the growing affluence of the Chinese.
Nice scenery!
The beach is a nice place to be at, despite the rubbish around.

Decided to go to 圆明新园 So lets hope on the bus!

A couple approached us saying that thay have an extra pair of tickets and want to sell to us. They said that the tix from them cost RM 55 each, cheaper than the counter price of RM 80. My buddy was in doubt and wanted to ask the counter whether its RM 80. The cheaper price tix is only avaliable to local Zhuhai residents. The couple got pple to help them get but they bought too much. Luckily for us if not......we will not have enough money to buy the 80 apiece one. Haha..lucky us...

Kungfu Panda

This is an epic period stage performance....it started off with a bang but it soon gets boring as the exodus began before the show ends

Propanganda: Tibetans bowing to the Han Emperor....

There is quite a dose of Communism and Patriotism in all these exhibits

I could not believe it seeing old couples dancing to the beat outside a hotel. What a way to enjoy the evening!

Woke up early the next day----> Lets go Macau proper!

We can see Zhuhai city from the Memorial Park

These exercise equipment are useful for the elderly who want to do some form of exercise. Singapore should have them around the parks too.
My buddy trying out one of the equipment

Tired......We walked all the way from the customs to the park...the ruins of St Paul's is just round the corner

Yeah!!! Finally!
Catholics caroling and distributing 福音袋.

Lets go Macau Tower!

Whao! Bungy! 笨猪跳 nice translation!

As requested by Laureen.....

If you dun want to do the bungy there are other not so scary alternatives like skywalk, climb the mast, sky jump.

We did not enter the casinos as we find it a hassle to deposit the bags and claiming it again later. The queue is just not worth it. Exhausted by the end of the trip but well done! Total expenditure less than HKD 900 and most of it went to the ferry fare (HKD360)

This post took quite a long time. haha shall hit the books soon!
Ok take care and tata for now!~
