It's Spring Time in Hong Kong! This past week has been raining and yesterday it was virtually cats and dogs! It can be cold too.

I went to Pin Chau for my second lesson with the kids! They are so spontaneous. Played games with them and they enjoyed it tremndously. Had a great laugh looking at the 'animals' they drew... Below are some...

Spiritual

One section of the book of Isaiah (chap 40-66) speaks of the "suffering servant."

Sometimes we are overwhelmed with life challenges. We may even think God is unable to help us or that he cannot hear us. Isaiah responded to thoughts like these with the words...

Surely the arm of the Lord is not too short to save, nor his ear too dull to hear.
(Isaiah 59:1)

1. Admit Your Need
But your iniquities have separated you from your God; your sins have hidden his face from you, so that he will not hear. (Isaiah 59:2)

2. Acknowledge God's Provision
He himself bore our sins in his body on the tree, so that we might die to sins and live for righteousness; by his wounds you have been healed. (1 peter 2:24)

3. Accept God's Offer
"The Redeemer will come to Zion, to those in Jacob who repent of their sins," declares the Lord

Holy God, how did you know I would be like I am? Why did you take my place, bear my wrongs and suffer for my mistakes? With genuine amazement and sincere gratitude I offer you my thanks in Jesus' name.
