Initially, I was not keen to take part...cos my roommate would not be around (as he went Guangzhou on that night) but decided otherwise..ha And i can say that I am glad that i went!!! It was quite fun after all!!!! Know quite a number of new friends!
There were only like 5 of us in a table meant for 10. I guess most of the locals shun us as we do not know them. So we were left with lotsa food!!! so much so that we did not even touched the second plate of food, while some tables had too little to eat haha....too bad..luckily some of them came over to 'help' us clear them :)
As you can see the plate of 'untouched' food 'above' (just above the word 'above')The German could speak 5 diff. languages. Whao!!! German, English, Italian, French and Mandarin!! I was a bit shocked when he started speaking in Mandarin. Anyway a very nice guy! He won a Canon printer (top prize) in the lucky draw haha....I was the one who alerted him (since he could not understand Cantonese though me neither...but at least I think I heard his number being called out...the others were already calling for a redraw haha...)
Nice dance, music and singning by the hall committee! A job well done!
